Everyday I am reminded that Makenna is no longer my little baby...she is now a big girl! She is getting so big and the baby stage dissipates more and more everyday. We are now front facing in the carseat, which I never thought would happen because I thought she would never reach the 20lb. number on the scale. Surprise...she weighed right at 20lbs. at her 15 month check up. Currently she is on the curve for her height and weight and the doc is no longer concerned about her...huge relief to mommy :)
This girl talks...and talks...AND TALKS! She can repeat just about any word you ask her to say and if it's a word that she can't quite figure out, she makes up her own version. She has full conversation (in her own language) when you ask her questions, and my most favorite word is "HAPPY"! If you ask her "Are you happy?" She says "HAPPY!" It's the best feeling for me to see her face light up!
One of the new activities that she has discovered is talking on the phone...her play phones, which she has about 4 of. She picks up the phone, says "ello, uh, ya, um...k...BYE." Every now and again whoever is on the other end of the call must really upset her because she will say "bye", look at the phone, throw it on the floor, and walk away. I can definitely see the attitude forming and it scares me!
